Tracking the Federal Stimulus from Washington, D.C. to Maine
For those of you who would like to keep track of the federal economic stimulus package in our capitol, now called The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Governor John E. Baldacci today unveiled a new State Web page dedicated to it:

The Web page provides information and resources so that you can track the legislation’s progress in Congress and actions taken by State government related to the stimulus. Following passage and the President’s signature of the final bill, the Web page will also serve as a clearinghouse so that the public can access up-to-date information about where and how federal stimulus funds are dispersed.
In addition, a section will be added to allow public comment on the stimulus package.
